According to this verse, this looks like the old covenant is no longer in effect,

Does anyone else see this verse meaning the same thing?

Which would imply then that the 144000 are messianic Jews or the lineage of those lines..if you match it up properly with this verse...

And no I am not anti semitic, I believe the bible, and it is clear that the old covenant is obselete,

I embrace my hebrew roots, as we all should, but we need to understand that the old one is disappeared...

Only one covenant left, Jesus,

Believe me I am not a well liked woman in some forums because of my views, but this is not about me, how much of your life are willing to sacrifice for Christ? Some of us view this very seriously, that Jesus means more then the wrong friends..

Mat 5:17 Do not think that I came to annul the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill.
Mat 5:18 Truly I say to you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, in no way shall one iota or one point pass away from the Law until all comes to pass.
Mat 5:19 Therefore, whoever relaxes one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say to you, If your righteousness shall not exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter into the kingdom of God, never!

Since Heaven and earth are still here then what said is very much still in force for today. If our desire is to teach or preach that they are done away with then we can be assured of our place in the kingdom.

i am not understanding what this has to do with the fact that hebrews tells you that the old covenant is not available any longer?
